Players of the People's Postcode Lottery have done it once again, as yet another million mark is soon to be passed in support of Scottish charities. It was only March this year that saw charities, the lottery and players celebrating a momentous 2 million pounds for Scottish causes.

But it’s the most recent revelation that’s the most astounding: very soon over 3 million pounds will have been raised for Maggie's Cancer Caring Centres, CHIILDREN 1ST, Scottish Wildlife Trust, Missing People (in Scotland) and the People’s Postcode Trust since launch.

To celebrate such an achievement, Street Prize Presenters Angus and Reanne popped into Maggie's Edinburgh to share a congratulatory cup of tea with Maggie’s Grant Yuill and Andrew Anderson, and toasted the achievement around the Centre’s kitchen table - the heart of any Maggie's Centre.

All were in agreement: 3 million pounds to charities is an incredible figure and one to be very proud of - congratulations to our players!
